Welcome to Stella Rose’s Garden
Stella Rose’s Garden is a Fund made in memory of the beautiful and bright Stella Rose.
At only one year old, Stella came to KDR in desperate need of emergency care, severely malnourished and fighting to live. Her bright demeanor in the face of such circumstances and her sweet spirit captured the hearts of many.
Stella Rose was able to have a chance, though brief, to enjoy what bit of life she had left before her unfortunate and unexpected passing, through the generosity of our donor community. Many dogs in Stella’s position struggle to receive emergency care due to lack of funds, awareness of options for their care from owners, abandonment, and inability to act quickly. Cut down too soon, these poor souls would be lost and without a chance in their most dire hours of need.
Stella Rose’s Garden is a fund that strives to help save other dogs from a similar fate.
With the help of this fund KDR can manage to meet time-sensitive deposit requirements for dogs at KDR that require emergency care, provide an outcome that supports each dog’s quality of life, and buy them time so we may fundraise further for their specific care needs once known..
